A long-established building services provider delivering full Mechanical and Electrical solutions across multiple sectors including industrial, logistics, food, pharmaceutical, data centres, mining, healthcare, commercial, hotels, high-end residential, public, and energy.
Role Overview
You’ll manage the mechanical delivery of major projects, ensuring works are completed on time, within budget, and to the required specification. This is a hands-on, site-focused role requiring strong coordination, communication, and leadership.
Key Responsibilities
* Attend project start-up meetings and manage all mechanical aspects from mobilisation through completion.
* Review and understand all project details, drawings, and specifications.
* Collate technical submittals and track them through to approval.
* Manage labour tracking and maintain weekly progress reports, including variations or changes.
* Liaise closely with main contractors and client-side teams.
* Coordinate delivery and installation of plant, equipment, and materials.
* Ensure continuous availability of materials required for project progression.
* Implement construction and commissioning programmes and oversee commissioning on site.
* Manage the project handover process and maintain all required documentation.
* Prepare project-specific schedules and attend subcontractor meetings to ensure on-time delivery.
* Attend general site meetings and action any issues raised.
* Communicate any innovative or project-specific solutions to the Contracts Manager (R&D).
Qualifications & Experience
* Extensive experience as a Mechanical Project Manager or in a similar mechanical delivery role.
* Proven success managing and delivering large-scale projects.
* Qualification in Construction or Project Management is preferred.
* Experience supervising teams and managing site-based mechanical works.
