About the Role
The Education Network is recruiting dedicated and compassionate SEND Support Workers to support children and young people with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND) across a range of educational settings. This role is ideal for individuals who are passionate about inclusion and supporting pupils to reach their full potential.
Key Responsibilities
Provide 1:1 and small-group support to pupils with SEND
Support learners with a range of needs including ASD, ADHD, SEMH, and learning difficulties
Assist with the implementation of EHCPs and individual support plans
Work collaboratively with teachers, SENCOs, and pastoral staff
Promote positive behaviour, engagement, and emotional wellbeing
Create a safe, inclusive, and nurturing learning environmentThe Ideal Candidate
Experience working with children or young people with SEND (school or care setting)
Patient, empathetic, and resilient approach
Strong communication and teamwork skills
Ability to adapt support strategies to meet individual needs
