Patent Paralegal

Overview
An exciting opportunity for a Patent Paralegal to join a leading global technology company, supporting a busy and collaborative intellectual property function. This role is ideal for a junior to mid-level paralegal with hands-on experience in European patent processes, looking to gain exposure within a high-performing in-house environment.
Additional Information
* Open to candidates based remotely in the UK or in Dublin
* Dublin-based candidates may be considered on a temp-to-perm basis
* Immediate start preferred
Key Requirements
* Min 3 years of experience as a Patent Paralegal or within a similar IP support role
* Strong working knowledge of European patent procedures, particularly EPO filings
* Experience coordinating with external counsel and managing patent portfolios
* Highly organised with strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple deadlines
* Proactive, responsive, and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
Key Responsibilities
* Coordinate European patent filings, with a focus on processes before the European Patent Office (EPO)
* Liaise closely with external counsel to manage patent prosecution workflows
* Track deadlines and ensure timely filing and responses across multiple jurisdictions
* Maintain and update patent records and internal databases
* Support the wider legal/IP team with administrative and coordination tasks related to patent matters
* Monitor incoming communications and proactively follow up on outstanding actions
