About the Role
As a Solar Electrician, you’ll play a key role in installing, maintaining and commissioning domestic Solar PV systems and battery storage. This is an excellent opportunity for someone passionate about renewable energy and looking to build a long-term career in a supportive and forward-thinking environment.
Key Responsibilities
* Install, maintain and commission domestic Solar PV and battery storage systems
* Perform electrical wiring, testing and inspections to meet regulatory standards
* Diagnose and repair faults in renewable energy systems
* Ensure compliance with current wiring regulations and health & safety standards
* Complete necessary documentation and certification for installations
Requirements
* 18th Edition Wiring Regulations (BS7671) – essential
* NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Installation or equivalent and relevant Solar PV Quals– essential
* Testing and Inspection 2391 qualification
* Experience in the renewable energy sector – desirable
* Proven experience with Solar PV and battery storage systems
* Full UK driving licence
* Valid DBS check and CSCS card
