Purchase Ledger Clerk - Yorkshire Region
We are looking for an experienced Purchase Ledger Clerk to join our busy finance team on a temp to perm basis. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who thrives in a high-volume, fast-paced environment and can hit the ground running.
Key Responsibilities -
* Processing a high volume of supplier invoices efficiently and accurately
* Matching, batching, and coding invoices in line with company procedures
* Reconciling supplier statements and resolving invoice/payment queries
* Preparing and processing supplier payments
* Supporting month-end processes to ensure accurate reporting
* Working independently to manage workload and meet strict deadlines
About You -
* Minimum 5 years’ experience in a Purchase Ledger role
* COINS system experience (highly desirable)
* Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Word & Excel
* Used to handling high volumes of invoices under pressure
* Self-motivated, proactive, and able to work on your own initiative
* Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills
