If you have a proven background in school-based business and finance management roles and are passionate about supporting education, we want to hear from you!
About the Role
As temporary business manager in this SEND school, you will be a key member of the team, ensuring the efficient running of the school's processes and supporting staff, parents, and students. Your responsibilities will include:
1. Comprehensive HR function
2. H & S of sites.
3. Complete all DfE and LA returns.
4. Asset management
5. Compliance
6. Grant applications and fundraising.
7. Review of policies and procedures.
8. Renewal and re-negotiating of Service Level Agreements
9. Budget planning, monitoring, and control.
10. Procurement of goods and services.
This is a full-time role and is an excellent opportunity to work in a warm and inclusive school environment.
About You
To be successful in this role, you must:
11. Have prior experience working in schools or the education sector in an administrative or finance capacity.
12. Be proficient with school management systems such as SIMS or Arbor or similar platforms.
13. Demonstrate strong organisational and multitasking skills.
14. Have excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
15. Be confident in managing sensitive information with discretion and professionalism.
16. Hold a valid DBS check on the update service or be willing to apply for one.
