Job Overview
We are seeking dedicated Domiciliary Care Workers to provide high-quality care and support to clients in their own homes across Cumbria. This role requires flexibility, compassion and a commitment to promoting independence for vulnerable individuals.
Key responsibilities
* Provide personal care, including washing, dressing, and assisting with mobility.
* Administer medication as per care plans.
* Support clients with meal preparation, light housework, and companionship.
* Provide specialist care such as bladder washouts and eye drop administration (training provided).
* Maintain accurate records, including care logs and medication charts.
* Work effectively with healthcare professionals and family members to ensure clients' well-being.
Requirements
* Full UK driving licence (essential).
* Access to a reliable vehicle for travel between client homes (mileage paid).
* Relocation to Cumbria required (support with relocation may be available).
* Previous experience in domiciliary care or healthcare (preferred but not essential).
* A caring and empathetic nature with excellent communication skills.
* Right to work in the UK.
