We are fortunate to count Volvo as one of our brands, and due to continued success, we are looking for an Assistant Sales Manager at our Southampton dealership.
As Assistant Sales Manager, you will identify and develop prospects, working with individual customers to understand their needs and guide them towards the most appropriate product to agree on the sale.
Your day will include:
* Working towards set targets to achieve income goals for the team and dealership
* Having good knowledge of finance and insurance products, explaining and selling their features and benefits
* Generating sales through prospecting and customer follow-ups via the existing database
* Identifying “hot” prospects and planning future contacts to progress them through the sales process
* Using digital marketing and effective telephone techniques to seek and secure appointments
* Assisting in training on brand and group systems and mentoring new sales team members
* Promoting product knowledge within the sales team
* Establishing rapport to develop long-term relationships with customers and prospects
* Deputising for the Sales Manager in their absence

* Results-driven with proactive attitude
* Fluent in written and spoken English
* Proficient with PC, Microsoft Office, web, and social media
* Valid driving licence
* Proven sales record, including financial and insurance solutions
* In-depth knowledge of financial systems such as Connect online, TCF SAF, and manufacturer systems

Hours of work:
Monday - Friday, with weekends on a rota basis and a day off during the week.
