Job Overview Seeking a consultant in anatomical pathology for a full time, permanent job in a tertiary hospital in New Zealand's largest city and commercial capital, Auckland. Position Highlights Surgical Pathology Unit provides the histology and cytology services to two hospitals and Breast Screening programs in Auckland IANZ accredited, well equipped department processes approximately 57,000 specimens from 30,000 patients per year from a range of specialties including, but not limited to, gastroenterology, breast, gynaecology, genito-urinary, skin and head and neck. path lab is staffed by 12FTE specialist Anatomical Pathologists working as generalists with areas of subspecialist interest. department participates in the registrar rotation for the Auckland training scheme. experience in cytopathology is desired.
