Opticore IT is currently searching for a Network Security Engineer to join our client on medium to large-scale projects involving design, implementation, and support on Prisma SDWAN and Prisma Access projects with various clients. This is a hybrid position requiring occasional client site visits, potentially 1 day a week at most.
This is a 6-month contract inside IR35, with a high likelihood of extension.
What you'll be doing:
* Advocating for Opticore, working with our client, a leader in security, delivering multiple projects focused on their SDWAN solution.
* Collaborating directly with clients to help them achieve their goals and understand their needs versus wants.
* Engaging with customers during discovery, design, implementation, and handover phases.
* Addressing a variety of issues, from product-related to internal network problems.
* Becoming a Subject Matter Expert (SME) on their product set and the main contact for the full project lifecycle (design & implementation).
* Assisting customers with hardware sizing.
What you'll bring:
* A consultative mindset and approach.
* Proven experience delivering Prisma Access or Prisma SDWAN projects.
* Confidence to push back to clients or internal teams to ensure project goals are met.
* A solid background in networking.
