About Us
Infrastructure Services brings together our IT, Estates, and Facilities functions, and together they are delivering our vision for the future of our physical and digital estate at the University of Hull. The capital investment in our estate will further improve our campus facilities, and our digital transformation programme is enhancing the experience of students and staff.
Purpose of Role
The Executive Director, Infrastructure Services, is the strategic lead for developing and delivering high-quality physical and digital environments that enable our University of Hull community to fulfill their potential, while ensuring we remain competitive to continue supporting student growth.
Key Leadership Responsibilities
* Provide strategic leadership for both the physical and digital estate, integrating these critical areas to transform the experience of students, staff, and stakeholders.
* Lead the development and evolution of integrated digital, technology, and facilities strategies and roadmaps.
* Lead strategic projects that deliver significant benefits and impact, aligned with our vision.
* Develop a high-performance culture within the directorate through clear purpose, effective organization, management, and governance.
* Foster collaboration between IT, Estates, and Facilities teams with shared purpose and aligned activities.
* Manage key relationships internally and externally, representing the University in committees, networks, and with external stakeholders.
* Embed the University values – inclusive, empowering, progressive – within the Directorate.
