1. Position: Customer Support Coordinator – 12-month fixed term contract
2. Salary: £25,000 rising to £26,000 after probation period
3. Location: Brighton
4. Hours: 8.30am to 4.30pm Monday to Friday with one late shift of 11.30am to 7.30pm per week. One weekend every 5 weeks with two weekdays off around it.

If you have excellent customer service experience and are great at handling high volumes of inbound customer service calls then a Customer Support Coordinator role with this well-established employer in the Brighton area could be your perfect new job. Initially covering a period of Maternity Leave this role is a 12-month Fixed Term Contract but in that time could lead to an extension or permanent job offer. The start date will ideally be 1st June 2026.
It’s a very busy customer support team so coming with previous phone based customer service skills such as from a call centre or customer service administrator role is key.
Job duties:
6. First point of contact for customers across two brands
7. Handling a high volume of customer enquiries via incoming calls, emails and live chat owning the query through to resolution
8. Working with financial / payroll information and all associated administration duties, a good grasp of basic maths and calculating percentages is needed
9. Ensuring tasks are completed in agreed timescales while following best practice
10. Supporting other teams with customer service and administration tasks as necessary
Skills & experience required:
11. Phone based customer service experience is essential
12. Excellent written and verbal communication skills
13. A high level of accuracy and attention to detail and administration skills
14. Ability to multitask in a busy environment
15. Customer focused, able to handle queries and complaints in a professional manner
16. Maths skills for basic calculations and working out percentages
17. Ability to work with a variety of technical systems
Salary, Hours and Company benefits:

19. 5 hours per week, working 8.30am to 4.30pm Monday to Friday but with one late shift of 11.30am to 7.30pm per week. One weekend (10am to 4pm Saturday and Sunday) every 5 weeks with two weekdays off around it
