My client in the Holmewood area require an experienced Mig Welder / Fabricator. The role requires precision, attention to detail, and a commitment to workplace safety and quality standards. Duties and Responsibilities: · Perform MIG welding on mild steel components to produce strong, clean, and accurate welds. · Read and interpret technical drawings and welding symbols to determine specifications and materials required. · Set up welding equipment, including voltage, wire feed, and shielding gas settings. · Inspect and measure finished components using gauges and measuring tools to ensure conformance to tolerances. · Carry out grinding, fettling, or minor fabrication as needed to complete parts. · Follow all health and safety regulations and wear appropriate PPE. · Maintain cleanliness and organisation of work area and tools. · Report any defects, equipment faults, or safety concerns to the supervisor promptly. · Participate in team meetings and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
