We now have an opportunity for a Gas Engineer to join our team to assist in the delivery of a high-quality gas servicing and heating breakdown service to bdht properties or contracts managed by bdht.
Note: This role has been changed from a Fixed Term Contract to a Full-Time, Permanent position.
The role
As our Gas Engineer, you will undertake services of gas appliances, carry out gas safety checks, and produce electronic gas safety documentation to an excellent standard to exceed customer expectations. You will perform repairs with a focus on first-time fixes, ensuring effective communication with customers.
You will also complete repairs outside of normal working hours, including evenings and weekends, on a rota basis.
All duties must be carried out in line with Gas Safe and Health & Safety Regulations, adhering to bdht's safety policies and Safe Systems of Work.
About you
With experience in a similar role and knowledge of health and safety, you will hold a City and Guilds Gas Service Engineer qualification or equivalent, with current ACS Certificates.
You must also hold current ACS elements in:
* Cooker - CKR1
* Fire - HTR1
* Gas Boiler - CEN1
* Pipework - CCN1
* Water Heater - WAT1
* Flue Gas Analyser - CAP1
It is essential to have a full driving license (a vehicle will be provided) and be willing to work at various locations within Bromsgrove and surrounding districts.
