Salary: £65,000-£75,000 (including car allowance) Location: Leeds Sector: Infrastructure An exciting opportunity has arisen for an Associate Partner with strong experience in Planning Act 2008 procedures to join a rapidly growing Infrastructure Consenting team within a leading UK property and infrastructure consultancy. This role is based in Leeds, with flexible working arrangements that balance time in the office with working from home. You will join an established team delivering Nationally Significant Infrastructure Projects (NSIPs) across rail, mass transit, road, power generation, and transmission. With a significant pipeline of major projects, this is an opportunity to develop your expertise at the forefront of the UK's future infrastructure, including schemes driven by Great British Energy and Great British Railways. The team has a proven track record across a wide range of consent regimes including DCOs, TWAOs, Section 36, and TCPA applications. Recent successes include the submission of four DCOs, a multi-billion-pound TWAO, and multiple renewable energy applications—with more NSIP projects now commencing. You'll work alongside some of the UK's largest infrastructure clients, including Network Rail, National Highways, National Grid, as well as leading renewable energy developers and investment partners supporting national clean energy goals. Ideal Candidate Profile: Strong understanding and experience of Planning Act 2008 processes Background in infrastructure consenting, ideally with exposure to NSIPs Collaborative working style and ability to engage with high-profile clients Experience with DCO, TWAO, or other statutory consenting routes is highly advantageous
