Education/ qualifications
Essential criteria
1. NVQ in Pharmaceutical Services or Equivalent
2. Registered Pharmacy Technician with GPhC
Desirable criteria
3. Attained full CIPs qualification
Knowledge and experience
Essential criteria
4. Extensive experience as Pharmacy Technician in various departments within hospital pharmacy
5. Sound experience working in purchasing in hospital pharmacy in permanent position
6. Management experience
Desirable criteria
7. Experience of working with Pharmaceutical Quality Management System
8. Experience and knowledge of NHS contracting systems
Skills, abilities and attributes
Essential criteria
9. Excellent verbal communication skills
10. Excellent Computer skills including word and excel
11. Excellent written communication skills

13. Evidence of leadership skills
