Your Role in Synergy Flavour’s Success As Operations Finance Manager you will be responsible for providing financial leadership, business partnering, and operational support across three manufacturing sites located in Italy, Ireland, and the UK. In this pivotal role you will drive cost efficiency, improve profitability, and ensure strong financial governance. You will work closely with plant leadership teams, supply chain, and core finance to deliver insightful analysis, robust controls, and support effective decision-making. How You Will Contribute: As an Operations Finance Manager you will: · Lead financial planning and analysis for operations and supply chain, developing models to support strategic decisions. · Build financial models to assess capital investment feasibility and returns. · Provide insights and recommendations to optimize resources, reduce costs, and improve profitability. · Partner with operations and supply chain teams to monitor performance metrics and drive operational excellence. · Identify continuous improvement opportunities through data-driven analysis. · Develop and implement KPIs to track progress and ensure accountability. · Monitor and analyse manufacturing costs, identifying trends and variances. · Implement cost control procedures and lead cost-saving initiatives. · Oversee inventory accounting, ensuring accurate valuation and reporting. · Prepare and manage financial reports, including monthly, quarterly, and annual reporting. · Support budgeting and forecasting, including variance analysis and reporting. · Ensure compliance and maintain internal controls, supporting audits and asset capitalization. Key Ingredients for Success: · Qualified Accountant CIMA or ACCA · 5 years of accounting experience, in a manufacturing environment. · Proficiency in ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) and advanced Excel skills. · Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail and accuracy. · Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with stakeholders at all levels. · Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment. · Available to travel regularly to Italy Our commitment to our People We are a diverse and growing workforce of over 1,000 people across eight countries globally.
