Role Overview
* Position: Specialist Mentor (Mental health) (SM MH)
* Location: University of Lincoln (Hybrid: offer both in person and online sessions flexibly to meet student preferences.)
* Pay: £28 per hour (+ £3.38/hour accrued holiday pay) on a PAYE contract with weekly payments.
Responsibilities
* Helping students achieve a healthy balance between daily living activities and academic tasks.
* Improving organizational skills, including effective time management.
* Assisting students in preparing for deadlines by breaking down assignments into manageable steps.
* Supporting students in managing stress and anxiety related to their studies or daily life.
* Guiding students in reflecting on their personal and academic experiences.
* Boosting students' confidence by identifying and building upon their existing strengths.
* Preparing students for new, potentially nerve-wracking experiences.
* Maintaining close communication with Randstad and reporting any student concerns promptly.
* Upholding the highest standards of professionalism and confidentiality at all times.
Requirements
This is a specialist role. You must hold active membership with at least one of the recognized professional organizations at the required level.
