The Oxford Eye Hospital based at the John Radcliffe Hospital is a centre of innovation in Ophthalmology, and we are looking to recruit enthusiastic individuals who share our vision and values fin delivering compassionate care.
Main duties of the job
We are a busy outpatient department treating over, adults and children a year in the full range of ophthalmology clinics including an emergency department and nurse-led pre-operative assessment. Our team is made up of over members of staff including specialist nurses, nursing assistants, band assistant practitioners, Nursing Associates, and a department housekeeper.
As a Band Nursing Assistant you will have a great opportunity to build upon your existing knowledge and skills. Being welcomed as part of our happy, dynamic team you will assist the Doctors and Nurses running clinics for adults and children.
Whilst our main clinics are at the John Radcliffe hospital, you will also be required to work at our clinics at Wantage and Witney Community hospitals and any other sites we may work at in the future. please consider how you will get to these sites before applying for the post.
