Our Story
At Pole to Pole, we lead people and teams into the world's last great frontiers: over Land, Ocean, and Ice. Our adventures, challenges, and purpose-driven offsites are designed for those ready to push their limits, reimagine leadership, and unlock new potential in extraordinary environments.
We work with individuals, adventurers, teams, and businesses who believe that true clarity comes through challenge, and that when travel holds purpose, transformation follows.
Our purpose-designed trainiång hub, the Pole to Pole Academy, is based in an old school in Swedish Lapland. Here, adventurers and groups train, prepare, and connect. Finding both the skills and the space to explore what is truly possible in this remote setting.
The Role
As Chef & Host at our Pole to Pole Academy, you will prepare and serve meals for up to 16 guests and team members every day from our well-equipped kitchen. You will take sole responsibility for the day-to-day management of the kitchen to 5* EHO food safety standards, including the safe control of allergens and other special dietary requirements. You will play a key role in supporting the planning and provisioning of simple, wholesome menus that reflect local produce and traditions, whilst managing costs in line with specified budgets.
This role would suit someone with previous experience in group catering or chalet hosting, who would relish the opportunity to apply their skills in a memorable winter environment. You will be an integral member of a small, informal and close-knit community, living and working together in spectacular winter surroundings. Fostering a supportive, welcoming, communal atmosphere is just as important as the cooking.
