Please be aware this is a Long Term Temporary post to start ASAP.
We have an exciting opportunity for an OT to join the Independent Living Service. The team comprises 26 staff, including Occupational Therapists, Disability Officers, and Community Assessment Officers. The Sensory and Telecare teams are also part of the Independent Living Service teams. The OTs in the team aim to provide specialist assessments of the needs of people with disabilities across the district to promote their independence by offering advice /techniques, equipment, adaptations, and support.
This post offers an opportunity to contribute to the ongoing development of innovative ways of working across health and social care to improve the experience of people, informal and carers and promote well-being and independence.
The post is for 37 hours a week, and as the council, we support the Hybrid working.

You must have:
1. A professional qualification in Occupational Therapy and relevant experience.
2. Post qualified experience.
3. Enhanced DBS/Update service.
4. References required for the last 5 years of employment.
