We are currently partnering with a Local Authority based in the West Midlands, who are recruiting for a Right to Buy Paralegal to join their Property law team on a 2 year minimum contract. This is a full-time position (35 hours per week) and office attendance in West Midlands is required once per week.
Responsibilities
* Managing both leasehold and freehold Right to Buy transactions
* Addressing issues related to unregistered land
* Providing regular updates to clients on Right to Buy matters, lease extensions, and freehold sales
* Handling the removal of Council-imposed restrictions and Right to Buy discount charges
* Managing all post-completion processes and requirements
* Ensuring all transactions are compliant with current legal and regulatory standards
* Liaising effectively with both internal teams and external stakeholders
Requirements
* Experience within residential property law
* Law degree (desirable)
