Assistant Manager – Fego Ascot
Daytime Hours Only – Full-Time Role
We're looking for an enthusiastic and experienced Assistant Manager to join our friendly team at Fego Ascot.
Fego is a relaxed, welcoming, home-from-home restaurant with South African roots, where our guests enjoy delicious, freshly made food and warm, personal service in a no-rules environment. We're a daytime-only business, but we operate in a fast-paced, high-volume setting.
What you'll be doing:
* Supporting the day-to-day operations of the restaurant, ensuring smooth and efficient service.
* Actively leading the team on the floor, hosting guests, and maintaining high service standards.
* Managing rotas, stock control, costs and KPIs to help drive profitability.
* Training, supporting and developing an experienced and hardworking team.
* Taking the lead during events and peak trading periods with calm, clear leadership.
What we're looking for:
* Previous experience as a restaurant supervisor or assistant manager.
* Hands-on leadership with strong communication and people skills.
* Proactive mindset with the ability to plan, prioritise and manage time independently.
* A true team player – someone who works closely across both front and back of house.
* Comfortable in a busy, fast-paced restaurant environment, especially on weekends.
