Role
Provide interpreting services to organisations and customers with limited English proficiency via real‑time audio calls using a dedicated app. Interpret and translate English to a second language and vice versa over the phone, maintaining accurate and complete interpretation while delivering excellent customer service.
Responsibilities
* Answer requests and interpret real‑time conversations via audio call.
* Interpret in both directions between English and a second language.
* Provide clear, accurate, and complete interpretation.
* Demonstrate excellent customer service at all times.
Qualifications
* Previous proven professional experience in verbal interpretation.
* Living in the UK and eligible to work on a self‑employed basis.
* Fluent in English and a second language.
* In‑depth understanding of cultural dynamics of both languages.
* Community Interpreting Level 3 certificate or higher desirable.
* Must hold or be willing to obtain an Enhanced DBS (Disclosure and Barring Service).
