The Role
We are seeking Graduate Mechanical Engineers to assist with UK infrastructure projects, participating in a 3-year graduate development program to enhance technical and professional skills. You will work under supervision and collaborate with the site team.
Key Responsibilities
* Ensure health and safety compliance and uphold quality standards.
* Review M&E designs for compliance with UK standards.
* Gather client requirements and incorporate them into designs.
* Provide buildability advice and solutions.
* Support tendering processes with third-party designers and suppliers.
* Assist in project coordination to meet budget and deadlines.
* Ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and quality standards.
* Support project management, resource planning, and team motivation.
* Adopt and promote Ferrovial’s values and work ownership.
* Follow safety regulations on site.
Skills and Competencies
* Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
* Proficiency in English (written and spoken).
* Degree or Master’s in Engineering (all disciplines considered).
* Motivated, analytical, proactive, and industry-aware.
* Proficient with Microsoft Office.
Interpersonal Skills
* Motivated, logical, resilient, flexible, results-driven, independent.
Desirable
* Knowledge of Health and Safety legislation.
* Engineering experience or CSCS Card.
Essential
* Right to work in the UK for the duration of the program.
