About this English Teacher role:
Job Role: Teaching English to KS3/KS4 pupils with SEBD
Location: Newport
Salary: Up to £42,000 per annum (dependent on experience)
Working Hours: Full-time, 37.5 hours per week, term time only
Contract Length: Permanent, with contract options available

Requirements for this English Teacher role:
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or relevant teaching qualification
* Experience teaching English, ideally in a secondary or specialist setting
* A positive, adaptable approach with a strong commitment to pupil wellbeing
* SEN/ALN experience (desirable but not essential)
* A valid right to work in the UK
* Hold an Enhanced Child Workforce DBS with an update service subscription, or be willing to apply for one
As an English Teacher you will:
* Plan and deliver engaging, well-structured English lessons
* Support the emotional, social, and academic development of all learners
* Use effective classroom management strategies tailored to student needs
* Assess pupils’ progress and contribute to their individual education plans
* Collaborate closely with the Senior Leadership Team and wider staff
