We are seeking a committed and compassionate Deputy Team Manager - Social Work (Short Break Service) to join our Adult Safeguarding team in the stunning island setting of Guernsey, UK. What You Will Do:
* Lead on complex safeguarding functions including Duty to Inquire and full Adult Safeguarding Investigations, following established protocols and legislation.
* Actively participate in the Multi-agency Safeguarding Referral Decision Hub, ensuring robust strategy decisions for adults at risk.
* Provide high-level safeguarding consultation and advice to internal departments and external partners, championing best practice.
* Work as part of a specialist multi-agency safeguarding team, using your expertise to influence systemic improvements.
* Co-deliver and support the development of internal and inter-agency safeguarding training, building capacity across the workforce.
* Engage meaningfully with vulnerable adults, ensuring their voice is central to care planning and risk management.
* Support the Head of Adult Safeguarding in service development, quality assurance, and policy implementation across the board.
What We're Looking For:
* HCPC-registered Social Worker (or equivalent recognised qualification).
* Significant experience in adult safeguarding, including undertaking investigations and contributing to risk assessments and safety planning.
