What would you do as ourPayroll Advisor Shared Services We have an exciting opportunity for a Payroll Advisor to support the Shared Service Payroll team based at Portobello, Willenhall.Reporting directly to the Payroll Manager you will help support the end-to-end payroll process in a timely and efficient manner. A key focus of the role will be to work closely with line managers and HR to ensure all relevant information and forms are provided to enable a smooth monthly payroll process. This is a fantastic opportunity for a Payroll advisor who enjoys being involved in projects and working in a collaborative team You would also: Process and verify employee attendance, including lost hours, shift/overtime premiums, and support line managers with the system's administration. Handle all elements of gross pay such as salary adjustments, expenses, statutory pay, and auto-enrolment. Accurately calculate statutory and company sick pay, and manage gross-to-net pay including pensions, court orders, and voluntary deductions. Administer payroll tasks for starters and leavers, and maintain related systems like access control and time tracking. Ensure compliance with statutory forms (e.g. P45, P60, SSP1), generate post-payroll reports, support audits, and assist with payroll integration during acquisitions. The skills and experience you need We are looking for someone who: Has the ability to work under pressure to strict deadlines with a strong determination to solve problems and resolve queries. Is analytical, methodical and has a good attention to detail. Has previous experience of payroll processing, preferably with ADP iHCM (NGUX) and Crown Workforce management. Has Payrolling Benefits desirable but not essential. Is CIPP Payroll Technician Level 3 or studying towards Payroll Technician Advanced.
