Our Commercial & Industrial division designs, fabricates and constructs structural steelwork for a variety of different sectors including commercial offices, stadia & leisure, industrial & distribution, data centres, retail and health and education. The division has manufacturing sites in three locations: Dalton, Lostock, and Enniskillen. Each has full-service capabilities and modern manufacturing processes enabling us to provide a high-quality product to a variety of different sectors. Each of our sites has its own strong reputation in the market and between them cover a wider geographical area, including Europe. They continue to set the bar high in their highly complex market! Vacancy Details As a Production Manager your role will oversee the production of fabricated steel throughout the factory during the shift. Your role is to oversee all aspects of the business and coordination of the shift teams within the processing, fabrication & despatch functions. You will need to be safety driven & have an attention to detail, working safely and efficiently to deliver high end products on target within budgeted hours. You will support forward planning and management within all aspects of the business and prioritise projects within each specific area. You will adjust manning levels per department in accordance with complexity of the product, workload and experience of the operatives working in the area. To be successful in this role you will need to demonstrate you have experience at a Team Leader/ Supervisory level or higher in a steel manufacturing/production environment. You must also be confident using Microsoft packages such as Excel and Outlook. Further to this you will be required to hold relevant qualifications/certifications that compliment your experience and ability.
