Key Responsibilities of a Computer Studies Teacher: Plan, deliver, and assess engaging Computer Studies lessons across Key Stages. Teach a range of topics including programming, systems, and digital skills. Support students in developing practical and theoretical IT knowledge. Adapt lessons to suit varying abilities and learning styles. Promote safe and responsible use of technology in the classroom. Requirements for a Computer Studies Teacher: Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or relevant teaching qualification. Experience teaching Computer Studies or ICT at secondary level. Strong subject knowledge and enthusiasm for technology and computing. Excellent communication, organisational, and classroom management skills. An Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply).
