We are currently seeking a passionate and adaptable Supply Humanities Teacher (Secondary) to support schools across Heathfield. Applications are warmly welcomed from experienced teachers as well as ECTs.
About the Role

Key Responsibilities
• Deliver engaging and well-structured Humanities lessons across KS3 and KS4.
• Adapt quickly to different classroom environments and follow each school’s curriculum.
• Teach across Humanities subjects such as History, Geography and Religious Studies (specialism welcomed).
• Maintain strong classroom management and promote a positive learning environment.
• Monitor and assess pupil progress in line with school policies.
• Communicate effectively with staff, pupils and parents where required.
Requirements
• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
• Experience teaching Humanities within a secondary school setting.
• Strong subject knowledge across the Humanities curriculum.
• Flexibility, reliability, and a proactive approach.
• A valid DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply for one).
