We are looking for highly skilled Solution Architects to join established multi-disciplinary teams delivering innovative solutions on major projects.
This role is suited to individuals who have progressed from a software engineering/development background into architecture, with a strong consulting pedigree and demonstrable experience working on public sector or public health programmes.
As a Solution Architect, you will: Lead multi-skilled agile teams to design and deliver high-quality, user-focused solutions.
Work closely with client architects to define functional and non-functional designs, ensuring alignment with strategic goals.
Provide expert advice on technical implications, design complexity and delivery effort.
Mentor, manage and coach junior team members, supporting their career growth and development.
Act as a technical leader, contributing to policies, standards and knowledge-sharing across the architecture community.
Bring thought leadership on emerging technologies and approaches, helping clients innovate.
A successful Solution Architect will have: A proven background in software engineering with progression into solution or enterprise architecture.
A strong consulting background with the ability to interface directly with senior stakeholders.
Experience delivering architecture within the public sector or public health environment.
Practical knowledge of multi-tiered modern software applications, cloud platforms (AWS, Azure), SaaS and PaaS offerings.
Ability to incorporate and prioritise non-functional requirements into design.
Excellent communication skills-able to clearly explain technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Demonstrated capability in coaching, mentoring, and leading small teams.
Desirable experience: Accountability for large and complex technology deliveries, from project through to multi-team programmes.
Pre-sales and business development activity alongside account teams.
Active contribution to technology communities, knowledge-sharing, and thought leadership.
Solution Architect Key Benefits: £80,000 - £125,000 (other levels available)
