What you'll do
As a Talent and Performance Executive at Sainsbury's, you will ensure the smooth operation of our Talent and Performance processes, overseeing the execution of annual cycles and key initiatives. Your responsibilities include supporting Talent and Performance Managers in enhancing the colleague experience, managing delivery of talent and performance cycles, building relationships with People partner teams, engaging with internal and external networks for innovative solutions, and conducting reviews to improve our interventions. Additionally, you will act as a product owner, resolve challenges through critical thinking, ensure compliance with ER, DEI, and Data Privacy standards, gather feedback for continuous improvement, and stay informed on best practices in Talent and Performance Management to maximize effectiveness and ROI.
Who you are
You are a strategic, results-driven professional with a solid background in talent management, performance management, and project or programme management. With a customer-centric mindset and a focus on continuous improvement, you excel at designing, developing, and deploying impactful talent and performance initiatives that support organizational growth and leadership development. Your ability to build relationships, influence stakeholders, and leverage data-driven insights ensures the successful execution of initiatives, contributing to a high-performing and engaged workforce at Sainsbury's.
Essential Criteria
* Experience managing projects or programmes through all lifecycle phases within talent and performance or leadership development.
* Proven ability to identify and develop talent through structured activities supporting organizational effectiveness.
* Experience applying performance management practices, including feedback and reviews, to align employee outcomes with strategic goals.
* Ability to analyse data to identify trends and inform decisions that improve business and people outcomes.
* Proficient in Microsoft Office tools for communication, planning, and reporting.
