Salary: £28,000 - £34,000 + Specialist Training + Progression + Benefits
Location: Maldon – commutable from Mayland, Cold Norton, Rochford, Chelmsford, Latchingdon, Burnham‑on‑Crouch or surrounding areas
About the role
You will work alongside a highly qualified team in a niche industry, carrying out all aspects of geotechnical engineering both in the office and on site. The role provides structured training and development to help you advance your career.
Responsibilities
* Assist senior engineers on site and in office with geotechnical engineering tasks
* Participate in ground investigation projects across the country
* Support the preparation of survey reports and technical documentation
* Contribute to training and knowledge sharing within the team
Qualifications
* Degree in Geology, Civil Engineering, Geography, or a related discipline
* Background or experience in Geotechnical Engineering, Geo‑tech, Geothermal, site surveys, or engineering
* Strong academic record and willingness to undertake specialist training
* Good communication and teamwork skills
* Commutable to Maldon
