Branch Partner - Veterinary Surgeon
J682856 Birmingham West Midlands £75K - £100K / Year
Apply Save We are partnering with a forward-thinking veterinary organisation to identify a Practice Partner for a well-established clinic in Birmingham.
This role offers an alternative route into ownership for Veterinary Surgeons who want to lead a practice as their own, without stepping away from clinical work or shouldering the full weight of business ownership alone. The partnership framework is intentionally transparent, flexible, and designed with long-term planning in mind.
Why consider this opportunity?
This position is particularly suited to a vet who:
1. Is ready to step into a senior leadership role within a practice
2. Wants a genuine stake in a clinic's success, not just a title
3. Values autonomy in clinical decision-making, protocols, and team development
4. Is motivated by building something sustainable with long-term financial reward
5. Seeks ownership with support, structure, and reduced personal risk
Ownership & partnership structure
6. Equity-backed partnership
You will become a co-owner of the clinic, sharing in monthly profits in line with your equity holding. The model is built around alignment both partners succeed as the practice grows.
7. Building long-term value
Beyond monthly income, the focus is on developing the clinic's performance, reputation, and asset value, creating a meaningful return over time.
8. Clear exit planning
A defined equity exit route is built into the model from the outset, giving you visibility and confidence around future options.
Ongoing support
9. Clinical autonomy with collaboration
You retain full oversight of clinical standards and direction, while benefiting from collaboration with a wider network of experienced clinicians and partners.
10. Business and operational backing
Central teams provide expertise across HR, finance, marketing, procurement, and facilities, alongside performance dashboards that give real-time insight into how the clinic is performing.
11. Regional leadership support
You'll work closely with a regional operations contact who supports implementation, planning, and operational challenges allowing you to focus on your team and patient care.
Location
Birmingham
This is a strong opportunity for a Veterinary Surgeon looking to transition from employee to owner, while retaining balance, support, and a clear strategic pathway.
All discussions will be treated in the strictest confidence.
