Our client is looking for a Workshop White Goods Instructor to lead a purposeful prison-based workshop at HMP Millsike, focused on refurbishing donated white goods such as fridges, freezers, and washing machines for reuse in the local community. This is a workshop where practical skills meet real social impact. Prisoners gain valuable technical experience, contribute to sustainability, and support low-income households through access to affordable, refurbished appliances. You’ll oversee the day-to-day running of a busy, hands-on workshop, managing the refurbishment process from donation through to finished product. At the same time, you’ll supervise and support prisoners as they develop practical skills, grow in confidence, and work toward employment-readiness.
