Ember Grey

The role

If you're going to spend your energy building a career, wouldn't it be great if it paid you twice?

At Ember Grey, that's exactly how it works! Once for doing your job, and again every time you make a placement. If you're driven by success and believe you should get out what you put in, keep reading.

A little over a year into our journey, Ember Grey is a start-up business that is growing fast. We've built a strong client base across the US and European Energy, Engineering and Industrial markets and continue to win repeat business from leading organisations around the world. We specialise in connecting exceptional talent with industry-leading companies across Energy, Renewables, Oil & Gas, Mining, Minerals, Aviation, Aerospace, Chemicals and Agribusiness.

You'll get all the excitement, ownership and influence of a start-up environment while benefiting from the infrastructure, support and stability of an established wider group. It's the best of both worlds.

What's in it for you?

  • Be part of something from the start
  • The opportunity to help shape a growing business, with your ideas and decisions making a real impact
  • Competitive commission structure with no waiting period
  • Multiple incentive trips throughout the year
  • Exclusive lunch clubs
  • Early finish Fridays
  • Summer party and end-of-month socials
  • Corporate discounts
  • Modern Manchester city centre office
  • Free on-site gym
  • Ongoing one-to-one training and development
  • Clear progression and long term career opportunity
  • The platform to grow and build your own desk.
  • Genuine earning potential

What you'll be doing

  • Sourcing and engaging high-quality candidates
  • Conducting interviews and managing the candidate journey
  • Building strong relationships with candidates and clients
  • Understanding client hiring requirements and delivering recruitment solutions
  • Managing recruitment processes from initial brief through to placement
  • Keeping up to date with market trends within your specialist sectors
  • Developing long-term professional networks within global industries

Who we're looking for

You don't need years of recruitment experience to succeed here. Previous recruitment or sales experience is advantageous, but not essential.

Whether you're a graduate looking to start your career, have previous sales experience, or you're already working in recruitment, the most important qualities are:

  • Drive and ambition
  • Resilience and determination
  • Strong communication skills
  • A desire to learn and develop
  • A genuine motivation to succeed

We provide full training, ongoing support and a clear path for progression. The rest can be taught.

If you're looking for a role where effort and results go hand in hand, where success is rewarded, and where you can build a serious career in specialist global markets, we'd love to hear from you.
