Year 1 Primary Teacher : January to July (Challenging Behaviour)
We are seeking an experienced and resilient Year 1 Primary Teacher for a long:term position from January to July. This role requires a strong, confident educator who can manage challenging behaviour and provide stability and guidance for a class that requires extra support.
This is a great opportunity to make a real impact in a classroom where consistency and strong leadership are key to improving outcomes for the students.
About The Role
* Full teaching responsibilities, including planning, preparation, and assessment
* Work with a class that has a mix of needs, including challenging behaviour, requiring consistent behaviour management strategies
* Implement creative and engaging lessons to inspire and support academic and personal development
* Work closely with the SEN team and other staff to create individualised plans for pupils who need additional support
* Build strong relationships with the children to create a safe, supportive learning environment
What Youll Need
* Proven experience in managing challenging behaviour in a primary setting
* A confident, positive approach to behaviour management
* The ability to foster resilience, cooperation, and mutual respect in the classroom
* Experience working in Key Stage 1 (Year 1 preferred)
* A passion for making a difference and helping all children achieve their potential
