Head of IT and Innovation/IT Manager A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a Head of IT and Innovation/IT Manager to join our leading law firm on a permanent basis. Head of IT and Innovation/IT Manager Responsibilities and Duties: * Strategy - Risk assess our current IT architecture and help create a strategic plan to support our vision, enabling the firm to make best use of technology whilst incorporating/adapting existing project plans as well as new/upcoming technologies, including the rapid advancement in AI. The plan needs to be managed in line with budgetary/resource requirements. * Technical and operational expertise - Maintain continuity of IT services, working with our third-party vendors. Oversee the management of our IT infrastructure, including networks, hardware, and software. Ensure the security of IT systems and data, implementing best practices for cybersecurity. Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and standards, design/introduction of relevant policies and procedures including disaster recovery plans. * Projects - The effective identification, prioritisation, and implementation of upcoming projects. Projects currently outlined are Windows 12, Copilot, vendor integrations etc. * Leadership, training & development - Lead the AI Committee to harness potential technologies in a safe manner. Ensure staff training on core IT systems is available in order to support individuals and teams to work effectively. Continued mentoring and development of the IT Assistant.
