The Wildcat is an independent, plant-based coffee shop in Fort William town centre, established in 2018. We focus on speciality coffee, well-made plant-based food and high standards. Sustainability, ethical sourcing and fair employment are central to how we operate.
Responsibilities
* Full responsibility for daily operations of the café
* Leading, motivating and managing a small team of supervisors and cafe assistants
* Setting, maintaining and continuously improving speciality coffee standards
* Overseeing coffee training, recipes, calibration and consistency
* Managing staff rotas and timekeeping
* Supporting training, onboarding and performance management
* Ensuring compliance with food safety, health & safety and company policies
* Upholding vegan, sustainability and environmental practices across all operations
* Handling issues calmly, fairly and consistently, including customer concerns and staff matters
