Senior Accountant (Practice) – Luton | £45,000–£50,000 + Progression to Manager
We are working with a well-established and growing accountancy practice in Luton who are looking to hire a Senior Accountant to join their team on a full-time, office-based basis (with hybrid flexibility considered after probation).
This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced practice professional seeking a clear route to Manager level within a supportive and forward-thinking firm.
The Role
* Managing a portfolio of SME clients across various sectors
* Preparation and review of statutory accounts (FRS 102 & FRS 105)
* Preparation of corporation tax and personal tax returns
* Handling client queries and building strong client relationships
* Supervising junior staff and reviewing their work
* Supporting partners with ad hoc advisory work
Requirements
* ACCA or ACA Qualified
* 7+ years’ experience within UK accountancy practice
* Strong technical knowledge of FRS 102 / FRS 105
* Good working knowledge of personal tax
* Confident managing your own client portfolio
* Strong communication and organisational skills
