Overview
A leading UK-based technology and services organisation is seeking an experienced Senior Product Analyst to join its IT team. This role is essential to the stability, configuration, and ongoing enhancement of the organisation’s Oracle E-Business Suite (EBS) platform, with a strong focus on Financials and Supply Chain modules.
This position plays a key role in third-line support and the delivery of configuration-based changes, while ensuring alignment with ITIL standards and continuous improvement initiatives. You will work collaboratively across internal teams and third-party suppliers to ensure the ERP system delivers strong user experience and maximum business value.
Key Responsibilities
Provide expert-level 3rd line support for Oracle EBS applications, with an emphasis on Financials and Supply Chain.
Translate business requirements into technical specifications in collaboration with Product Owners and Business Analysts.
Design, test, and implement system changes and enhancements.
Manage system configuration and data setup within the Oracle ERP platform.
Document system configuration, processes, and data mappings to support business operations and knowledge transfer.
Liaise with third-party vendors to manage incidents and service requests in line with SLAs.
Ensure all business requests and incidents are logged and tracked using internal ITSM tools.
Ensure ERP data handling practices are compliant with GDPR and other regulatory requirements.
Contribute to the development and maintenance of knowledge bases to support future onboarding and training.
Maintain a proactive and flexible approach to problem-solving and technical support activities.
Essential Skills & Experience
Significant hands-on configuration experience with Oracle E-Business Suite R12, specifically:
Financials (AP, AR, GL, Fixed Assets)
Supply Chain
iProcurement
Purchasing
Time and Labour
Warehouse Management
Project Accounting
Strong understanding of Oracle ERP system architecture and data flows.
Experience working in service-level driven environments with clear SLA targets.
Proven track record in application lifecycle management within an ITIL framework.
Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and documentation skills.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
Ability to manage competing priorities and deliver to deadlines.
Desirable Skills
Proficiency in Oracle SQL and PL/SQL
Oracle EBS certifications in relevant modules
ITIL Foundation certification
