Quality Control – Permanent – South Telford
L & C Consulting are recruiting with a successful Manufacturer for a new Quality Control / QC Technician to join them on a permanent basis. It will suit an experienced, systems driven QC Technician looking for a role on a Monday – Friday day shift.
Your duties will include (but not be limited to):
* Product and materials testing
* Record keeping & adherence to SOP
* Investigations and problem solving
* Process improvements
* Assisting with audits
* Support R&D
* Machine calibration
You will be hard working and self-motivated as well as technically astute – able to work independently but also as part of a broader team. Experience in a similar role is essential. You will also need to be physically fit as there will be occasional heavy lifting.
You will have good communication skills, be IT literate.
Monday – Friday, day shift. Salary will be based on experience, c£30,000 (DOE).
Location requires own transport, but the site is commutable from all parts of Telford as well as Shrewsbury, Wolverhampton, Bridgnorth, Shifnal etc
