Credit Controller
The Credit Controller is a key position within the first line of defence for the organisation, acting as a safety net from an operational and regulatory perspective.
Responsibilities
* Maintain and reduce monthly aged debt for the group.
* Chase clients/brokers for debt settlement to ensure collection within credit terms.
* Manage your own diary and workload effectively.
* Ensure statements are sent timely.
* Liaise with customers via telephone and email, following up to resolve debts.
* Build strategic relationships across the organisation and communicate effectively with stakeholders at various levels.
* Escalate issues and queries promptly to the team leader/manager.
* Assist with audit queries.
* Perform administrative duties such as managing email inbox and queries.
* Undertake ad hoc duties as required.
The Candidate
* Experience in a fast-paced credit control environment (desirable but not essential).
* Effective written and verbal communication skills.
* Intermediate proficiency in MS Office suite, including Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
* Resilience to adapt to business growth.
* Ability to deliver tasks accurately and on time under pressure.
* Positive attitude with problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
* Strong organization and time management skills.
* Ability to work collaboratively in a team and independently.
