Interim financial controller

Accountable Recruitment are delighted to be partnering with a growing, UK-based manufacturing organisation who are seeking to appoint an experienced Financial Controller to join the team on an initial 3-6 month contract (temp-to-perm opportunity).


Based in the North West, you will work a hybrid model.
This opportunity is ideal for an immediately available Finance professional with strong manufacturing experience, looking for a role with long-term potential.

Salary/benefits:
£65,000-£70,000 (pro rata / equivalent)
Flexible working - hybrid model available

Job Duties:

* Oversee accounts payable and sales processing, supervising 1 member of staff
* Full production of monthly management accounts pack with detailed commentary
* Provide analysis of month-end reporting, including variance analysis
* Take ownership of the costing model, ensuring accuracy and continuous improvement
* Analyse profit margins by customer and product line
* Manage invoice discounting processes and cash management activities
* Produce robust cashflow forecasting
* Provide financial and stock control support to senior leadership team
* Mentor and develop junior team members in accounting best practices
