Civil Engineer – Warwickshire. Salary £35,000 – £45,000.
The role is within a consulting civil and structural engineering practice.
Job Responsibilities
* Preparation of drainage design, levels design, detailing including drawing long sections, construction details, drainage area plans, kerbing plans, Section 104, Section 185, Section 38, and Section 278 Agreements.
* Supporting the administration of projects, including maintaining records.
* Assisting with data review and analysis.
* Ensuring outputs are accurate and meet the required standards.
* Meeting agreed deadlines.
* Working as a member of a team.
* Contributing to providing solutions to problems.
* Knowledge of PDS and Flow beneficial but not essential.
Qualifications
* Civil Engineering Degree or suitable alternative.
Personal Requirements
* Show an aptitude towards software-based engineering and drawing e.g. Computer Aided Design (CAD) and other similar 3D software.
* Demonstrate an interest in and a desire to pursue a career specifically within Civil Engineering.
* Creative, practical, adaptable and enthusiastic.
* Ability to demonstrate attention to detail.
* Ability to think in a methodical way to design, plan and organise parts of projects.
* English language proficient, holding excellent communication skills to present information in speech, drawings and reports.
Flexible Working
One day work from home and flexible working, core hours being between 10am and 4pm (latest 10am) and work through a 7.5 hour day with an hour for lunch if required.
