A leading UK accountancy and advisory firm with a strong reputation in financial services is looking to appoint a CASS Audit Director to its Central London office. The firm works with a broad range of FCA-regulated clients, including investment managers, brokers, and fintech businesses, and is recognised for its collaborative culture, strong technical expertise, and continued growth within the FS audit space.
Your new role
As a CASS Audit Director, you will take full responsibility for a portfolio of high-profile FCA-regulated clients, leading CASS assurance engagements and acting as a trusted advisor on complex regulatory matters. You will drive the strategic growth of the CASS offering, oversee audit delivery, and play a key role in business development initiatives.
This is a senior leadership position where you will work closely with partners, contribute to departmental strategy, and lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing team.
What you'll ideally need to succeed

• ACA/ACCA qualified (or equivalent)
• Significant experience in financial services audit within practice
• Deep technical expertise in CASS (Client Assets) rules and FCA regulations
• Proven track record managing large, complex audit portfolios
• Strong leadership experience, with the ability to inspire and develop teams
• Demonstrable business development experience and a commercial mindset
• Excellent stakeholder management skills, with the ability to build long-term client relationships
