This organisation is an industry-leading engineering and manufacturer based in the Co Armagh area that has a global presence. As they continue to innovate and invest in the business and their facilities, they are now seeking to appoint a Facilities Project Engineer to support with capital expenditure on building renovation and planned and reactive maintenance.
Your new role
This is a permanent position based in Banbridge reporting to the Facilities Project Manager. As the Facilities Project Engineer, you will be instrumental in the delivery of facilities capital expenditure projects, building remodelling and infrastructure projects, large strategic change programmes and site consolidation programmes from conception to handover. Working closely with internal stakeholders and coordinating the activities of external equipment suppliers, design consultants and construction contractors.
What you'll need to succeed
Ideally, you will have a third level qualification in a relevant building or engineering discipline along with over 5 years’ experience in a project delivery role within a manufacturing setting. You must be able to demonstrate previous experience in project management and delivering capital investment programmes, along with knowledge of the full project life cycle and budget responsibility within a manufacturing environment.It would be beneficial but not essential to have AutoCAD skills and a recognised Health & Safety certificate, NEBOSH or IOSH.
