At Ranikhet Academy, we are looking for a Reception Class Teacher & Early Years Leader to join us in September 2024 on full-time permanent contract.
Ultimately, we are looking for someone who is up for a challenge and wants to get stuck in with all aspects of our academy life! This could be a fantastic opportunity for an experienced teacher looking for more responsibilities to support their career development.
The successful candidate will be responsible for:
1. Providing leadership and management of the school’s Early Years curriculum
2. Delivering high-quality teaching and effective use of resources
3. Evaluating the effectiveness of the provision in EYFS in close collaboration with the leadership team
4. Organising and managing teaching and learning in EYFS
5. The development and monitoring of the curriculum provision
6. Supporting the Headteacher in the monitoring of the quality of teaching and children’s achievements, including the analysis of EYFS data
You will work to improve learning standards and achievement for all pupils in their subject, whilst also carrying out their duties as a classroom teacher. You will be an integral part of the Senior leadership Team, contributing to the school development plan and to whole school strategic planning. You will offer guidance and support to EYFS teaching staff, modelling best practices and showing up-to-date knowledge of current theory and practice
