Chef de Partie at The Trading Room, Westcliff-On-Sea

Responsibilities:
* Food Preparation: Prepare and cook dishes to our high standards, specialising in your designated section of the kitchen.
* Quality Control: Ensure all dishes leaving your section meet our standards for taste, presentation, and consistency.
* Team Collaboration: Work alongside the Head Chef and kitchen team to maintain smooth service during busy periods.
* Station Management: Take ownership of your section, maintaining organisation and cleanliness throughout service.
* Stock Control: Monitor stock levels for your section and communicate requirements to senior kitchen staff.
* Food Safety: Maintain excellent hygiene standards and comply with all food safety regulations.
* Skill Development: Support kitchen assistants and commis chefs, sharing your knowledge and techniques.
* Menu Support: Contribute ideas for seasonal menu changes and special event dishes.
Requirements:
* Previous experience as a Chef de Partie, Commis Chef, or in a similar role within a restaurant or pub kitchen.
* Strong cooking skills with knowledge of classical cooking techniques.
* Ability to work efficiently under pressure during busy service periods.
* Good understanding of food safety and hygiene standards.
* Team player with excellent communication skills.
* Passion for British pub cuisine and delivering quality dishes.
* Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and bank holidays as required.
